Solo practice is a dynamic ‘of-the-moment’ process of exploring movement as a unique way to build a kinetic philosophy and personalized technical base to draw upon for expression and can serve as a microcosm for building structures within an ensemble. When observing natural processes found in nature or citing organized activities in certain species such as schools of fish, flocks of birds or colonies of ants, you are witnessing some sort of inherent cooperation and fundamental process of evolutionary design. This approach will serve as a model for ensemble work. This act of spontaneous performative compositions is created by performers who are constantly adapting to internal and external stimuli, urges and interactions combined with the ability to self-organize where there is no continuous leader and no predetermined narrative, where singular voices intertwine with ensemble work.

January 16 to 20, 2017 – 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. (Mon-Fri)
Studio showing on Friday, January 20, at 7:00 p.m.
$130 with the support of Emploi-Québec
Registration – Please contact (514) 393-3771 or info@studio303.ca[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row unlock_row_content=”yes” row_height_percent=”0″ overlay_alpha=”50″ equal_height=”yes” gutter_size=”3″ shift_y=”0″][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_single_image media=”54713″ caption=”yes” media_width_percent=”100″][/vc_column][vc_column column_width_percent=”100″ gutter_size=”3″ back_color=”color-lxmt” overlay_alpha=”50″ shift_x=”0″ shift_y=”0″ z_index=”0″ medium_width=”0″ mobile_width=”0″ width=”2/3″][vc_custom_heading text_color=”color-nhtu” text_size=”h3″ text_weight=”300″]Technique classes at RQD[/vc_custom_heading][vc_column_text]November 21 to 25 and November 28 to December 2
from 10 AM to noon

Musician: Iohann Laliberté

November 21 to 25 classes will take place at the Centre de création O Vertigo – 175, Sainte-Catherine Street West

November 28 to December 2 classes will take place at Circuit-Est, 1881 Saint-André Street

5$/class, with the support of Emploi-Québec and Compétence Culture[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row unlock_row_content=”yes” row_height_percent=”0″ overlay_alpha=”50″ equal_height=”yes” gutter_size=”3″ shift_y=”0″][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_single_image media=”54712″ caption=”yes” media_width_percent=”100″][/vc_column][vc_column column_width_percent=”100″ gutter_size=”3″ back_color=”color-lxmt” overlay_alpha=”50″ shift_x=”0″ shift_y=”0″ z_index=”0″ medium_width=”0″ mobile_width=”0″ width=”2/3″][vc_custom_heading text_color=”color-nhtu” text_size=”h3″ text_weight=”300″]Nous (ne) sommes (pas) tous des danseurs[/vc_custom_heading][vc_column_text]Danced roundtables
Agora de la danse
May 6 to 8, 2016 – 6PM

The carte blanche given to Sophie Corriveau and Katya Montaignac for the creation of a new Traces-Interprètes will allow audiences of the 34th season of Danse-Cité and Agora de la danse to witness an event unlike any other: an immersion into the intimate world of the dancer.
